sandiecusack Some really lovely tunes here with beautiful arrangements. Hard to pick a favourite. I love Shivelight in Spring and Shimmer, but also the humour of Catching Flies! Settling on Katy's Theme because it's the culmination of who Mel is today. Katy is the result of Mel coming out of the darkness. xxx Favorite track: Katy's Theme.

yolb Beautiful music, wonderful arrangements, each individual instrument can be heard clearly and yet you still it as a whole. One that I will listen to over and over again, no doubt spotting something new each time.

kmjd62 Mel has created a unique and distinctive sound which is very evocative of the natural world. Some of the tracks make me want to dance, others are more reflective, and the short vocal track is a lovely addition. My favourite tracks- Shimmer for its infectious rhythms, and Katy’s Theme, which kind of sums everything up - fantastic! Favorite track: Shimmer.

about

"From Darkness Comes Light is a collection of 12 tracks that are very important to me. For many years I have been intrigued by the intrinsic connection between mood and music, and the attachments we have to people, place and nature. Each track is composed to represent a different time of the year. I hope my creation brings you an insight into your own emotions but most of all joy!"
